Artists invited to display their works at Beatles festival | Arts & Culture

Local artists are invited to show off their work at the upcoming Beatles at the Ridge Festival.
A juried art show will be added to this year’s festival, which is scheduled for September 15 in downtown Walnut Ridge. The show will provide space for more than 20 artists to display their works along Abbey Road.
Carrie Mae Snapp is coordinating the event. She says paintings, pottery, jewelry and other works of art will be among the items she hopes to see displayed. A juried show means artists must have their works approved before they can take part.
“Artists will submit photos of their work so our committee can make certain it meets our standards,” Snapp said. “That way visitors can see the best of the artists around.”
