Sex offender arrested again for failing to register

A woman convicted twice for failing to register as a Level 2 sex offender in Craighead County faces the same charges now in Lawrence County, according to Sheriff Jody Dotson.

On Wednesday, March 6, deputies arrested 35-year-old Pauline Lomax at a home in Walnut Ridge.

According to an email from Sheriff Dotson, investigators learned the Lomax had moved from her previous address without notifying his office.

When deputies went to the home they were told by others that Lomax did indeed live there and that she would contact the sheriff’s office.

After Lomax failed to notify the sheriff, a judge issued a warrant for her arrest.

Lomax was found at the Walnut Ridge home and arrested without incident.

She is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $50,000 bond.  She’s scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on April 24.
