Man arrested, accused of choking woman | Crime

Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office arrested an Imboden man on charges he choked a woman.

On Sunday a woman reported that Ben Cody Stephens, 27, choked her and damaged her vehicle.

When deputies responded to the scene, they reported she had marks on her neck and there was damage to the fender and passenger side door of her vehicle.

According to Sheriff Jody Dotson, Stephens was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
