Investigators use cell phone to track down suspects | Crime
A man accused of stealing a pickup truck was arrested after investigators used the signal from his cell phone to find him.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson, Darren Weaver, 24, of Pocahontas and Bennie Biby, 57, of Ravenden were arrested Sunday on theft of property charges.
The two are accused of stealing a 2004 Chevy pickup truck from a home in Imboden on Friday, April 27.
After learning that Weaver might be the person who took the truck, deputies obtained Weaver's cell phone number and tracked it to Conway where Pope County investigators reportedly found Biby and Weaver with the truck.
The two are now in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
