Deputies arrest 3 on probation violations

Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson has a message for parolees and probationers:  violate the terms of your probation and you’ll end up in jail.

This weekend deputies arrested three people for revoking their warrants.

Douglas Hight, 23, of Jonesboro was arrested on a revocation warrant for residential burglary.

While 25-year-old Jennifer Holtdorf of Rockford, Illinois, was arrant for a warrant revocation for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies also arrested 31-year-old Brandy Mitchell of Pocahontas on a revocation warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Dotson said all three violated the terms of their probation by either "reoffending or absconding."  He did not elaborate.

All three are currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond each.  They’re scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on Tuesday, September 18.
