Forget about the NCAA. A different kind of March Madness is coming to Jonesboro!
On Saturday, March 31, the Arkansas Lakers AAU basketball team will host a basketball showcase/fundraiser.
Some of the state's top Division 1 prospects will be in action; including Bobby Portis of Little Rock Hall, Dayshawn Watkins from North Little Rock High School and Jammar Sturdivant from East Poinsett County High School.
The showcase will also feature the Arkansas Hawks. It's one of the top teams in the country, according to fivestarbasketball.com. Also playing will be the Arkansas Warriors, the Lakers and several younger AAU programs from around the state.
Tickets are $5 for the showcase and $10 for a day pass.
