Master gardener to hold daylilies workshop | Home & Garden

Openings are still available to enroll in the Daylilies 500 workshop at Arkansas State University.
The workshop, designed to learn to grow and care for daylilies, is Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m.-noon, at the ASU Agriculture Building, Room 102, 119 South Caraway Rd. Parking is located in front of the greenhouse.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in growing daylilies including gardeners, landscapers and homeowners. Attendees will learn to produce the perfect perennial for years of enjoyment and will receive one potted daylily to take home.
Instructor Wanda Howerton is a master gardener who has cultivated over 500 varieties of daylilies. Howerton is a member of the Northeast Daylily Society and the American Hemerocallis Society-Daylilies.
The cost of the workshop is $15.
