Event to raise money, awareness about heart disease | Events
It's been estimated that more than 79 million Americans have some sort of cardiovascular disease.
To help reduce those numbers and raise funds for education and research, on April 13 the Jonesboro Heart Guild will host its spring event "Hearts in Tuscany."
The event at the Arkansas State University Cooper Alumni Center will feature dinner, drinks and live entertainment, as well as a silent auction.
The guild will recognize Caitlyn Bradley as the Heart Child Honoree. In memory of Wayne Harris, the guild will also recognize Harris’ widow, Becky, as well as Harris’ children, Jerri Sparks, Mandy Harris and Joey Harris, as the Heart Gala Honorees.
For ticket information, visit americanheart.org/jonesboroarheartball or call Audrey Hanes at (573) 219-0360.
The Jonesboro Heart Guild’s spring event is made possible by NEA Baptist Clinic, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro, Liberty Bank, Gilead Sciences and Art Advertising, Inc.
Dr. Scott Hoke of Jonesboro provided the artwork on the heart guild's invitations and program cover.
