Lawrence Co man found guilty of animal abuse
LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A Lawrence County man was found
guilty of animal abuse after dead horses and malnourished animals were found.
Larry Douglas pleaded guilty of animal abuse after two dead
horse, and several malnourished cows, donkeys, and horses were found on his
property.
Douglas was fined, sentenced to 30 days suspended jail
dependent upon him taking better care of his animals. He must complete 150
hours of community service of working with animals.
