WBC Lady Eagles receive 18 academic awards | News

From Williams Baptist College

Not only have the 13th ranked Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles won on the
field, but they have also won in the classroom. This was evident when the
American Midwest Conference released its Academic All-Conference team on Friday,
and 18 student-athletes from the Williams softball squad made the
team.

Making the list from WBC were:
Tara Boyd, Ashley Boyles, Whitney Fowler, Makenzi Gillihan, Karisa Hendrix, Tori
Henson, Brianna Hindman, Hallie Horton, Gena Johnson, Mallarie Lee, Brittany
Morgan, Courtney Newman, Callie Simmons, Lauren Sweeten, Bailey Thomas, Laura
Tucker, Shelby Upshaw and Courtney Weathers.

In order to
receive this honor, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade point
average of 3.0 and have been a member of the softball squad for the entire
year.
