Powerball jackpot reaches new heights

 

Do you have Powerball fever yet?

You might once you find out how much you could win.

According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is expected to reach a record $600 million.

The previous record was $587 million won on November 28, 2012.

All you have to do is match the five white ball numbers (1-59) and the red Powerball number (1-35).

The drawing will be held at 9:59 p.m. CST Saturday.

Of course, count on Region 8 News to bring you the winning numbers.

Public invited to uniform, shoe sale at SBMC

 

The Women’s Advisory Council of the St. Bernards Foundation will sponsor a uniform and shoe sale on Wednesday and Thursday, February 20 and 21.

The sale is one of three uniform sales sponsored each year by the volunteer group and will be held in the Dietary Conference Room (just outside the cafeteria) at St. Bernards Medical Center.

The event is one of three $5 jewelry sales auxilians sponsor each year.

Items will include a wide variety of costume jewelry – necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, broaches, watches and more – with most priced at $5. Other gift items will be available as well and will include things such as scarves and purses.
